Summary of Job Duties:
The Research Assistant will build systems to sustain research projects and select, extract, and prepare data for statistical analysis and public dissemination.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in mathematics, chemistry, biology, or related field

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency and skill with STATA or SPSS statistical software obtained through at least three years of experience in the use of STATA or SPSS statistical software

  • Advanced proficiency and skill with Microsoft Excel obtained through at least three years of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel software

  • Basic proficiency and skill with Wordpress website management software obtained through at least one year of experience in the use of Wordpress website management software

  • Basic proficiency and skill with Tableau data visualization software obtained through at least one year of experience in the use of Tableau data visualization software

  • Advanced proficiency and skill in developing public-facing databases obtained by at least three years of experience

  • Basic proficiency in translating statistical analysis results into written recommendations obtained through at least three years of experience

  • Knowledge of statistical research principles and practices

  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of compilation and analysis of research and statistical data

  • Knowledge of methods and techniques to interpret statistical analysis results
