Operations Manager: Responsible for managing company's daily operations. The position requires the supervision of several people (currently 18). The personnel supervised by the Operations Manager are the warehouse operators, the sales personnel, and the accounts receivable clerk. The Operations Manager will: Supervise sale persons and train them in the sale of natural stone products so they can recommend the correct products to the company's customers; Make recommendations to upper management regarding the hiring, firing, promotion, and compensation of staff under his/her supervision; Set-up the pricing and promotional strategies for the company and prepare the reports and budgets required to aid the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer direct the company's operations in an efficient and profitable manner; Inform upper management of inventory needs based on sales figures; Manage daily operations and ensure the compliance of the operations with all applicable laws of the State of Florida and The United States of America; Oversee the timely collections of due accounts and pursue payment of delinquent accounts or past due collections; and Implement directives set down by upper management. Four years' experience in the sale of natural stone products; three years' experience in the sales and operations of a business involved in the sale of natural stone products; three years' experience training and managing sales staff involved in the sale of natural stone products; and three years' experience with the different properties of natural stone products.
